Your smartphone can do a lot of things, but did you know that it can actually save you cash? A wide variety of personal finance programs are available for mobile platforms, and they can help you with a variety of tasks including money management, budgeting and more. Here are some smartphone apps that can save you money:
Mint
One of the most popular personal finance applications, the Mint app from Quicken consolidates all of your accounting into one handy place. It’s easy to monitor cash flow, expenses, invoices and more.
Bill Minder
Keeping track of all of your regular payments can be difficult, and missing a bill can lead to serious penalties down the road. The Bill Minder app lets you track all of your bills quickly and easily and sends you reminders before they’re due.
Grocery iQ
Keeping your food budget under control is an excellent way to reduce spending, and one of the best ways to do so is by bringing a list. The Grocery iQ app not only lets you put together a list the old-fashioned way, it also uses predictive text, barcode scanning and more to make it easy.
Gas Buddy
With fuel prices always rising, finding cheap gas can be a tricky proposition. This free app uses input from people all over the world to report prices and then lets you locate the cheapest gas in your area at the touch of a button.
